is it compulsary to get 5 photocopies of bio data form with 1 original one??
or
can i fill all 6 copies without getting photocopies(i.e., all manual filling)..
does that makes any difference??

Hi, I got 396 marks in SSC CGL(tier 1+2)and i opted for for 1st - CSS,2nd - CVC in order...To get CVC(Vigilance) i just attended CPT and typed only half of the passage given in word processing...is there possibility for me to fail in CPT? And if i am selected in CVC, where would I get posted? I opted for South India in 1st oder... I applied for Intelligence Bureau in 3rd preference. Is there any chance for getting CVC or IB in south india as I am from AP and put AP as 1st preference.

@ankur3553: I wonder if you were so serious about CSS post then why did you not try to enquire about CPT dates. It was clearly written in anticipated dates that CPT will start from around 7th Nov and interviews from around 10th Dec.

Moreover for such situations where admit cards are delivered late, SSC already gives an option of printout from your regional website. But you didnt take it from there coz you perceived a wrong date. And you cannot pursue it legally because they clearly state that they are not responsible for delay in delivery by postal department.

So now it is better that you stop regretting and prepare well for interview. A good score of 60+ in interview can get you an excise post.

@Kros: CVC posts are very few and no one knows where they may be posted. Mostly the postings are in Delhi only. Moreover with your score it would be near impossible to get CVC as its cutoff goes very high.

it's there. Though link is not written as Biodata form. It is at the last of some pdf file whose link is written as instruction or something like that.

1- you will be failed in CPT
2- vacancy (in CVC and IB) is not sure, though it will be very less in number so prediction of getting is not possible.
3- These are mainly Delhi based job, so getting posting in AP in CVC or IB seems not possible.

@custom I generally don't type except chatting but I guess I typed well enough to clear CPT.

Last time there was only one vacancy in IB, so seems like its also gone. Most likely you are getting Railway in Aanand Bhavan, so take Aanand :)
