@Aanchal9431 Auditor will be better... after some experience there will be a relaxed life and growth is also good.

I think auditor will be better considering promotional opportunities........
but at any time interview post is always best..................thats why it has more pay scale and as well as authority
Can anybody share the type of work that is expected from a Assistant in CSS.
@AshuIncognito I DONT KNOW MUCH.. but mostly u need to make sure that all bills of the govt. all policies made in the parliament. etc etc.need to be typed, corrections checked,, etc etc... bakwas work.. u have no say in any policy. only back end work. someone is making. u are just doing the writing work. No implementation say. u are forwarding it to concerned ministries.
i m also expecting CSS maximum due to low marks...

I was benefited with the interview experiences posted here, now my turn--
My interview was on 21st Dec. NR at Delhi
I am a B.tech in IT currently employed with a software company having preferences 1.CSS 2.Assitant in Railway 3.Examiner 4. Preventive 5. Central Excise 6. Div. Accountant 7. Auditor and have filled all states. I was the last student in the group of 8 to be interviewed.
I entered the room wished them and took seat.
1.They asked from where I am? I replied RaeBareli but they didn't put any question on it.
2.The head among them pointed out he knows Sanskrit as well as it was written in my biodata,so another member gave me two sentences and asked to tell the mistake, I accurately told.
3. He said which grammar book is used in Sanskrit.. I said It is Panini's Astadhyayi but Laghu Kaumudi and Deergha Kaumudi are also used. He said that's correct.
4.Then He asked why do you read Gita, I answered.
5. The head said why do you want to leave your technical job for a clerical one.
I said,"Till I am sitting with a system I like it but when I come in my room and think for whose benefit I had done today's work then it is for some foreign organisation and this sense motivated me towards govt. job, moreover govt. job has good payment and benefits as well"
6.The head then asked me to tell from where Sanskrit words are generated.. I said it is from the Damru of Shiv ji and the sutra for it is called Maheshwar Surtras and these are 14 in number he asked me to assert them.. I told him but the ordering was incorrect at a place which he corrected and also narrated a shloka for it (I suppose he would have been Sanskrit Professor).
7.Then he asked me whether I had read Sanskrit literature also . I said I have not read literature but I have some knowledge about Meghdoot written by Kalidas, he asked me to narrate a shloka. I answered,"I know the summary but I don't remember shlokas in this book however I can tell shlokas from Gita" He asked me to go ahead and I narrated a shloka from Gita.
8.Pointing towards the lady the head of the board said,"Madam he is a technical fellow now you ask something". She at once said,"Tell me the difference between wimax and wifi" I tried but could not tell in a good way and said I dont know much about it.
9. She then asked how does mail travels from one system to another, I explained it in a good way and they were convinced.
10. She then asked tell me the 3 apples which changed the world, for 10 seconds I thought and then answered Newton's apple, apple company. and Adam and Eve's apple however in this question the Chief assisted me jokingly ," one even I know about Newton" and then I remembered all.
11.Another person then asked me to tell the states to which Rajasthan borders?
I answered, he then asked me thar desert in which districts, I said Sri Ganga Nagar, Bikaner Jaisalmer. He said Ganga Nagar is wrong others are correct.
12. What state is there in Pakistan on the other side of Rajasthan border... I guessed Sindh and luckily it was correct.
13.Tell some constitutional bodies --- I answered with Election Commission of India, CGA, CVC, He said others are correct but CVC is not a constitutional body.
14.For which central post MPs and MLA also need to help in selection-- I answered President and was correct.
15.The chief then asked what is your views on CAG findings are these findings biased?
I said,"CAG is doing its work, it is not saying that corruption is done or not, it is just giving the correct data, it is upto the govt. to analyze and give arguments whether it could have been done in less expenses or not." He also asked about CAG chief, I said Vinod Rai and He seemed to be convinced from my answer.
16. He then asked about my family background and said Thank you we are done. I thanked them all saying,"Thank you sir nice talking to you all"
Interview lasted for about 20-25 minutes or so.

AND i have qualified for the interview post in ssc CGL 2012
but i could not get NOC form the dept .........
now what should i do should i attend the interview ornot
plz suggest

Yaar you should attend the interview because NOC is must only when you require age relaxation but if you don't require it then you should not be worried about it.

Haan bhai, today I attended interview in Delhi and there were panels from A to H (as far as I know) and 8 candidates were in each panel consisting of 3 interviewers.

you should attend the interview. just like vk shukla said.
i went through a lot of trouble to get an NOC but i wasnt even asked for it. when i showed it to them myself, he said this is only necessary if you are claiming age relaxation.
also i wasnt asked for any attested copies of certificates. they only wanted to see original 10th and 12th marksheet.
anyone having interview on 31st in delhi ?
