@i2wantu As per that link, vacancies for (Central Excise Inspector + Preventive Officer) is more than 3000. Is it the same what Chief had mentioned long time back regarding number of vacancies?

@appuusingh the vacancies for css, as told by my friend is mentioned in "assistant 3" doc, 2nd entry i.e DoPT....ek baar fir se dekho...u will find 131 for UR written over there....

@appuusingh document is genuine brother..no doubt about that...it is that some departments release their vacancies much earlier than other departments....date correction sirf procedural uniformity k liye hai bhai...:)

Advt no. :u can leave blank

Cat no. :9 for UR

Name of posts: just write "Various Posts Under CGL-2012", no need to mention specific posts..

Friends,

I have heard that Candidates from north India get joining letters before Southern region. Is it true for all deptts??? Or only Excise??

I came to know that Excise Inspectors joined in North India in June only.......... But in Chennai region they are yet to join...........???

Which deptt gives earliest joining and by when??????????

Is it that if vacancies are less in number(eg Asst) then they get early joining but CAG and Excise are delayed bcoz the number of candidates joining is large??????????
