I hope somewhere between 400-405 as there are many vaccancies in tamilnadu and not many people have opted for tamilandu...what do you think?

@som.ranjan me too think the same
nearly 60% of the candidates selected for intw are from north region
most of them wont be pleased to move from delhi
70% candidates who cleared intw are upsc aspirants
so chennai or tamil nadu will not be made as their state pref
so may opt for chennai too as there are some standard upsc coaching centers
available but those candidates would be very meagre

obc cut off for intw is 319 and i have 325 in t1+t2
my post pref is central excise and state pref is tamil nadu
my home state is tamilnadu

Ya definitely i think most of will get it....You are 6 marks ahead of the cutoff for OBC...U will certainly get..

I dont think vaccancies will go unfilled...My score 408.75(UR).

My pref order examiner,preventive,ITI,excise,assistant.....Interview was average...Preferances i gave all the states....Which post shud i expect??

u ll get preventive officer for sure in ur first pref state
hopefully delhi
