A fresher PO draws nearly 22K (Other than SBI) if lease is not taken or else(if you take lease amount) your HRA will be deducted (8% in metros and 6 in semi-urban and rural) andrent is given to you which counts to 8500 in metros, 5500 in urban, 4700 in semi-urban and 3300 in Rural for a scal 1 officer(PO). My reason to quit is1. We will miss the personal life completely.2. Weird postings( Bangalore, Adilabad, Nizamabd and Mumbai are the places I worked in those 2 years and my native is Tirupati. Nw u can imagine).3. The pay u get and the work u do never match and we feel we are working more than SW engg and paid too less(pay may increase in a 6 months time).4. Heavy pressure from Zonal and regional offices towards recovery and deposit increase. Every min we will recieve mails from them towards the functioning of the branch.I bet 90% of the bank employees are not at all satified with the work pressure now.
@cs_fourier be very careful before you decide to join bank as praneeth has already pointed out. 90% of people are not happy in bank coz of excessive work pressure ( you know a lot of public dealing, irate customers, targets pressure from Zonal offices, transfers,a lot of smart old colleagues who just believe in exploiting the younger ppl like us coming in ). So in short no job satisfaction and gradually it will spill over to your personal life. So best option before u take this decision is to talk to at least 5-10 people in both the departments( Po and ITI or whatever) , u know personally.So u wont have a biased opinion. That will give you a better idea. Dont take ur decision based on online platforms alone. One should have very precise info b4 joining any dept .so that u can b prepared for whats coming in and are able to take an informed decision.I didnt do it, and joined bank but personally I find it the most stressful job. i was on the brink of promotion to Scale 2 , but have left. Just talk to more and more ppl who r actually in the job, and dnt tk decision based on perceptions alone.

Bhai it has been almost three years since i've joined as PO in a Bank and I'm also on the verge of Promotion but still want to leave the Bank job for a post in SSC. So think before you join a Bank

yes they need it at tym of int only but date on ur degree must say that u cleared the degree exam on 31/12/2012 or the marksheet should be printed on or before 31/12/2012. If u can do so then u r eligible else cgl 14 it is.
As per chief Assistat bhar diya to delhi jarurat nhi hai bharne ki but baki posts ke liye bharna padega. if u get CSS rest assured u wud get Delhi

Completely agree with u.Gr8 post. POs work like slaves these days.I have seen people leave PO job for Auditor job, even TA.

Guys, how is the post of Assistant in Intelligence Bureau??? Since it involves intelligence kind of work, is it a 9 to 5 job or has more work pressure??Also, do assistants also have to travel often to gather intelligence???
dude it's a office job..... u will deal with files & loads of files....... u can be posted anywhr , however mostly the posting is in delhi only for assistnt in IB selected thru CGLE...... so less workload as compared to an ACIO (field agent)
If u wanna field job , intel gathering & stuff lyk that ...then u gotta clear ACIO-IB exam conducted by MHA. i already aced that
