those who think there is no perquisite(extra income ) in income tax should really need to have a reality check.... bcoz there the highest amount is involve....as far as money is concerned this is the best job and i don't think i have to say anything abt promotions ..if u don't believe just go on google and just write "income tax inspector bribe/graft" and then thousands of results will come ...my cousin is 2010 batch income tax inspector in jaipur and i know all this very well....those who dislike this job may be because there are incompitent of scoring high.....as the maxim goes"angoor khatte hain"

@sk.jadon well it depends on person to person ...on its flair/talent....but definately lots of oppurtunity and scope .....
as this inspector aked 250000(two lakh 50 th) for nothing and was caught with 90000 accepting-http://www.udaipurtimes.com/income-tax-officer-arrested-for-taking-rs-90000-bribe/
he has acceptd that he has done this many a times before also and this is the only time he got caught
my brother has told me that in many cases an inspector's shate is above 10lakh .....so boss "sky is the limit"

jo janpath pe white kurta me baithe hain . sayad tu unke baare be jaanta hoga . agar nahi jaanta to tera opinion ek dum reasonable hai .ghoos ki suruaat hi wahan se hoti hai. hum ghoos nahi lenge to wo aur jyada ghoos khayenge . hum atleast balance to kar rahe .

I am working with Infosys for the past 2 years.. I have not learnt much in IT.. I have got 341 in Tier1+tier2.. I am an engineer from Mumbai... And people say that I mite easily get an auditor in CAG .. I am in a dilemma whether to choose a government job or stay in Infosys.. Can you please help me out? If I want to choose auditing, then what are the job prospects? How much is the money there? Even if we talk about white money , then is it enough to support our family 10 years from now? Please help me by answering my queries ...
