I think these posts are available at Jamnagar, Vizag, Mangalore, Goa etc. Along 11 coastal cities. Do you know wat are those eleven. If Po and Examiner are not posted in inland cities, then who will take care of customs in Airports of tht cities?

Yes these parts also come under the 4 main zones I posted. Examiners are posted at seaports only. Maybe once they get promoted, they can be posted at airports too I think.

bhai tumne toh mere sae bhi kam posts fill ki haen.... excise delhi + punjab + up = 90+ seats... but delhi mein everyone fills ... so UP,punjab ... but u have decent marks ... 60 -65 in interview will get u excise... punjab last year was 454 i think... excise..

@saikatha bhai... impossible to tell... but for last year u can check through ssc.nic.in mein result section ... still on website.. i think march 2012.. i came.. check final write up... add this year seats.. make a guess..
