@smartboy20 Not made mind completely.. but socio, political and pub ad looks gud to me.. but they are very common among aspirants, so it seems tough to score gud in them unless one is phodu in these subjects as well as in expressing well on paper.. considering all these.. anyways.. I will hv to start anything from scratch.. hope i will end up taking 2 among these 3 only..but yet to decide.. ryt now going thru NCERTs and GS manual..

Gonna give my first shot this year. There was talk earlier that optionals gonna be removed. All that rumors wasted my time. UPSC notification on 2nd Feb. Looks like only after 2014 optionals would be removed. Will see.

Seems u r trying UPSC in 2013 itself.. I am looking forward to appear in 2014. What say.. will they remove optionals? hw hv u prepared for prelims? any suggestions for CSAT ans GS as well..

Pub Ad + Soci is a popular combination. You gonna move to Delhi for coaching something like that or good with self-prep?

Yes. looks like so. There was talk that optionals would be removed from 2013 which wasted a lot of time of mine 😞 Anyway better be prepared go ahead with GS. Rely mainly on the Hindu, trend is that lot of emphasis in on current affairs.

Mine is Pub Ad + Telugu Lit. thought of changing Pub Ad to Maths. But my plans were ruined by all the rumors last year.
