Hi, I am a B.E. graduate with 4 yrs of IT WE. Having done enough in front of computers, I am joining MBA (Finance) this year. I am interested in getting into Investment Banks. I heard about this CFA course and would like to know if it will benefit me to do it along with my graduation.

Hi all, After reading this wonderful thread on ICFAI CFA, I have an altered or should I say a betterd outlook towards it. Posts by TumTum are extremely helpful as they were in FRM threads as well. I wanted to know whether ICFAI CFA is a FULL-TIME, 2 year course??? Is there a provision for PART-TIME sort of a CFA from ICFAI that can be beneficial for a working professional like me????
I checked thier website but couldn't get anything on it. Do reply puys....

hello puys.. i wanted to ask abt the MSF course of ICFAI..?? earlier thr was ms finance which led to CFA.. then ICFAI discontinued tht course n came up with MFA which consists of only 12 pprs n giving CFA on completion of this course. whn i asked at thr office they told me tht MS Finance is now split up in two parts one is CFA (MFA) n other one the more tough n core part MSF.. i checked both the courses at thr website n found out MSF more interesting but at the same time much much more tough than the present CFA.. i need to knw tht if anyone here is doing MSF..?? how tough it is to clear..?? n whthr i can go for MSF directly or i need to go for CFA first..?? coz i feel tht CFA builds the base for MSF.. i want to do both the courses.. plz frnds suggest me whthr it is fruitful doing both the courses or not..?? coz if i hv to choose any one of them then i wish to go for MSF.. n the fee is also much more than the CFA.. so plz suggest me wht should i do..?? thanks in advance
