@LIVEURDREAM dude when did you give the fci exam? in 2011? i was wondering how much time it takes for the candidate to actually join fci..

yes brother i gave the pre exam in 2011 and mains in feb 2012 then the cpt(computer proficiency test) . THe final result was announced on 19 aug and after 4 months they have called the candidates for the joining , which is quite early as compared to the time taken by other departments . ONe of my friend has got selected as excise inspector in march this year and yet he is awaiting for his joining so brother fci people have done it much earlier than other departments.

hey as per new notification of ssc,all the procedure for joining has been shortened n everything will be done by d end of a year....wont have to wait for 6-8 months for call letter....cheers :)
