I am a bit confused..Am selected for both Paper-II(Generalist, Accounts & Depot) and also for Paper-III(Technical)..Though my 1st preference was technical n 2nd Generalist..Both of the paper seems to be on 03rd Feb..How will i give both the paper?? Or i have 2 choose?? What sort of job is in Technical cadre..please throw sum light on the same..

may be ssc ne educational qualification ke basis pe nikali ho list.........sry i cant say anything for sure............bt u can get solved ur query by asking SSC CHIEF on twitter............

I am in for paperII but my roll no is in for paperIII too ,but I applied only for gen. & dep. as I ain't 4m tech bckgrnd. :O

date for tierII is known ..but any1 have any idea about CPT date (approx).

yups bro.....you cant appear for technical.....jst concentrate on paper-2.....

Nature of Job n Postings :
AG3 Gen are posted normally in Central or Zonal HQs, Regional Offices, District Offices... nature of job clerical only.
AG3 depot are posted in Depots mostly ... clerical nature only... though involves receiving of consignment ... making records .... issuing the consignment.... (for example for mid day meal etc)

salary is same for both the posts i.e. AG3 General and AG3 Depot

Now u decide urself whatever suits you........

I m Btech in computer science...i have applied fro gen , depot and account category but my result is in Technical category , N it say i have to give paper III nw......what to do...because Paper III is of biological science...n my field is different...is it a mistake by SSC? or this is normal?..pls help

Well am B.Tech in Bio-Technology..This makes me eligible for both paper II n Paper III..Coz i gave the preference as Technical, General n then accounts..and my name appears in both List..so should i concentrate on paper II or III or equally to both??

i thnk u shud concentrate equally on both the papers.......

vaisay cutoff for technical is quite lower as compared to general post so u hav a better chance for technical.............nd check out the final cutoff also which i hav uploaded in the post above.
