this process u will only have to pay Inr 10 as the RTI fees which would be submitted at the time when you would submit your application if going to the ssc office. otherwise in case of sending it via post i am not aware of the procedure as i had done it at the ssc delhi office.

also, i think that we can get an IPO from the post office for Rs. 10 in case of a postal rti request..

In case of FCI , medical has to be done on our own, they people send a medical performa attached along with the appointment letter and the candidate is asked to get him examined by visiting to the nearest medical officer of any govt hospital.
Just show them your appointment letter from which they wud keep the medical performa which has to be filled by the doctor after examining the candidate he wud fill that form and return that to u.
