a gardener has 1000 plants. he wants to plant them in such a way the no. of rows and columns remains same...then what will be the minimum no. of plants he will need for this?....friends explain it....ďťż

Should be 24..

He already has 1000 plants..As per the conditions stated in the question..the number of rows n columns should be equal..Thus, any perfect square just above the value of 1000 will suffice.. Thus 30 rows n 30 columns will have 900 plants...31 rows n 31 columns will have 961 plants..32 rows n 32 columns will have 1024 plants..Now, 1024 is the minimum value just above 1000..Hence he will require 24 plants more to satisfy the conditions..

Guys i have a query.

The preference of post that i gave at the time of online application is ADBC. Since I am not eligible for the Technical post(C) at this point of time, can i take the Paper II alone, vomiting Paper III which is for Post C.
Is there any problem if I dont appear for Paper III(Technical) and appear for Paper II.Am I still be eligible for consideration for ADB posts, if selected?

@sreekuttan.tvm yes you can skip paper 3rd (technical)... you will be considered for ADB Post...many people who are not eligble for technical had filled their preference by mistake..so forget about technical paper and prep for paper 2 of 3rd feb..All the best :)

@priyaj9090 only if ur marks are greater than cutoff for post A,B&D; i.e ur marks in first paper shud be equal to or greater than 99.5 (general)
