Guys i got selected for both great lakes chennai campus 2 year pgdm program and goa institute of management. I am having a small location preference for chennai but the flagship course of great lakes is 1 yr pgpm. So is their pgdm program ranked lower than that of goa or are both almost the same. Which one should i choose?

which one?
Is IIM Shillong good for finance profile particularly for IB/VC/PE? As someone told me such roles are not available there, only marketing roles disguised as Finance are available such as relationship manager in banks. Can someone confirm it?
Folks before asking for comparison between colleges please mention details like
What specialisation do you want to do ?
Will you be taking a loan for MBA (i.e how important is ROI for you) ?
What is your profile (undergrad specilisation, work experience details) ?
What roles are you looking for in future ?
What other calls do you have other than the ones you mentioned ?
Any other factors that are important for you (i.e. campus life is important or you are interested in extra curriculars etc.)
Any advice procured without taken into consideration the above factors will be inaccurate becuase a particular college might be perfect for one candidate yet not a good fit for soeone else . Simply asking to compare 2 b-schools without any details is unwise IMHO.
P.S. I would also reccomend asking advice on colleges you ACTUALLY have converts instead of speculating before the results are out. But then that's just me. I know how most puys and pals like to discuss all their calls 😝
P.P.S There is no way I would know what your chances of getting through to XLRI are. There are only 2 parties who know that answer- the panel who conducted your interivew and god. And neither are going to respond to you till the results are you. So please dont ask me to judge your probability of admission- am as clueless as you are. ATB anyway !

Converted IIMB. My interview for FMS is scheduled on 25th. As of now, I would be mostly going to IIMB but a couple of friends belive that FMS may be a good option given its ROI. Would like to know your opinion whether I should attend inteview for FMS or not.
