In 2017 ongc recruited before iocl and just after ongc interviews iocl conducted the interviews. So all the candidates who were selected in ongc went for iocl as well ... ultimately they joined ongc...and iocl seats were vacant....guys here are talking about 2016 people were lucky...I think yes they were coz that year many students were not able to attend ongc interviews coz iocl didn't gave noc...so it's not only about seats....timings of interviews also decides the last rank to be selected....I hope this time there should be gap between iocl and ongc interviews..so that everyone gets opportunity
