If someone fromSC/ST/OBC gets more marks than General Cutoff(in all sections plus overall Cutoff) , will he or she be selected as per General quota? Also this time UR is not mentioned, specifically it's given "General"

For all who have confusion regarding allotments of reserved category(SC/ST/OBC) under General category:
If an OBC/SC/ST category person qualifies under his respective reserved category in Prelims or Mains or if he used age relaxation then he will never be considered under General even if he gets more than General cut off in the final...Suppose if the cutoff at some stage is same for General and obc, the sectional cutoff will surely be different.
So if a reserved category person used his reservation at any stage to qualify to the next stage then he will be always considered under reserved category only.
If a SC/ST/OBC person got more than General cutoff at each stage i.e. Prelims, Mains and Final(also in all sections)...and if he did not use any age relaxation...then he will be allotted under General/ Unreserved category provided he gets his first preferred bank under General category.
Called IBPS and the lady assured that results will definitely be declared within February and no news of any further delay is reported till now.. Chalo bhai 28 tak aayga yeh toh pakka hua.. Yahi bohot badi baat hain..
