22 जुलाई, 1947 को संविधान सभा व्दारा अपनाये गयेराष्ट्रीय ध्वज की लम्बाई और चौड़ाई का अनुपात 3:2 है जिसमें तीन रंगोंकी पट्टी केसरिया ,सफेद तथा हरा है । मध्य में नीले रंग का चक्र है जिसमें 24 तिल्लियां है ।
