some sites are showing 145-150 cut off for rajasthan gen.. is it possible puys??..

Every time i open PG tab there will b so much diversity seen! Sometimes there r ppl frm Rajasthan, uttarakhand, delhi asking for cut offs nd certainly too stressed. Nd next time i log in Westbengal, karnataka, assam guys keep popping nd common thing is we all r panic stricken. Divided by boundaries nd united by tension of Ibps result. 😊

Those who cried after seeing Schindler's list I must say you should watch this true story movie " The Pianist " it tells a story of a musician who survived the Holocaust of Nazi SS Army in World War II, winner of Academy award, Palme d'Or, BAFTA, Ceaser award.
Friends last year cut off were all vacancies based ..so it depends state wise vacancies in wht margin it shud increase like I am 4m maharashtra wer almost 3000 vacancies last year n cut off was 92 general but final selection was 120 or more marks means 28 marks more than actual cut off. So those states which has more vacancies der cut off can increase by atleast 20 to 25 marks more than that of last year..Similarly those states wch has lesser vacancies it is not goin 2 increase by more margin but in little bit margin means by 5 to 10 marks. So friends u can get roughly idea abt ur state cut off.. All the best frnds only 5 more days 2 go...

i belong to TN OBC.
If many people attempts a particular question and if that answer goes wrong for the majority, then that question is considered as a difficult question. In prelims as many candidates are attempting, questions in difficult category would be more. So sectional cutoff would be very less. In mains as filtered candidates are appearing, questions in difficult category will be less. As a result, sectional cutoff will go too high as in po. The sectional cutoff was expected to go low in po by everyone and it did not happened. Also the total cutoff will be lesser than expected. Many may get eliminated in gk and quant. Also note that, candidates who does guess work and attempts too many questions with very low accuracy like 10 and 20 percentage will not be considered to decide if a question is difficult or not. As they will be affecting the standard deviation and average drastically
People asking cut off can simply calculate as cut off of prelim*3.6, it is applicable for evry state, evry category.. Enjoy...don't wait till 1st april

Regarding sectional cutoff
1.They are not state-wise,they are same across the nation for a particular category.
2.Sectional cutoffs cannot be arbritarily decided.It is the mean-0.25 of std deviation.This year prelims exam has eliminated a lions share of candidates.So,only serious aspirants took mains.So mean score will be higher for the filtered(by prelims) candidates will be higher(than that of previous year) to a substantial extent.In PO,despite a very tough paper sectionals are raised stiffly.(12.25/20 in comp,can you believe,more than 60% of total marks is sectional cutoff)
So,we should be ready for inevitable shock.
Final cutoff will not increase as anticipated as lot of very high scorers will be eliminated due to sectionals.
In PO also lot of 95+candidates are out of the race due to sectionals forcing the cutoff to be 76(6 marks less) despite shortlisting 8000 odd people lesser.
So balanced sectional guys are ahead in the race and final cutoff will increase but not upto a very high extent.

mera ek simple bath ha..u cant compare clrk with po. clerk me sectional cutoff state wise very kartha ha. e vi true ha sectional cutoff thora increase hoga.bez main ka this year students compare to last year too competitive, bez most of student eliminated after preli. last year main cutoff se WESTBENGAL ka obc cat ka student +13 jada payea they selected.so last year 123+ job mila. i predict is bar max 132 bez of high competition.ar ek bat cut-of eng/gk max 2-3 and res-2 . rest of all are same.
Plz irritate na kare time batake ki kitna bacha hair result aane mein... Every1 knws to count... OK...by d ways,it's 139 hours to go😜😜
