Is it not better to go for IBPS Clerk with a job/salary ready at hand than going for any Manipal PGDBF? There's a 5 year service bond which will be applicable from the day you complete your course & internship and join as a regular employee + A lump-sum of ₹ 4 Lacs which is in anyway your liability, even before you actually join the bank.. If somebody has been struggling for quite some time to get a Government job then they will certainty prefer a job which will pay you right from the first day you start working, rather than developing the patience required to further devote a year.. As far as knowledge is concerned, the practical exposure which one can get while working as a Clerk (regular job) is so far better than theoretical + internship.. Mind you, you're gaining knowledge along with the work and earning around 20-22k as compared to getting 27-28k (if you avail an education loan) after spending 1 year and a quarter.. I feel, if you've cleared IBPS Clerk then it's definitely wise decision to join it.. If you think wisely, Manipal PGDF is a boon for the ones who're close to attaining the maximum age-limit.. Also, this programme largely benefits the ones who've time, with an age of around 21-22 (not more) who can easily devote 5-6 years of their lives and those candidates who do not have any other alternative but to 'dive in' for the sake of diving.. Trust me, during the interview for any Manipal PO, the panel always takes the Age factor into consideration.. They always ask your age verbally (in most cases) during the interview because they want to assure that there are no drop-outs in the institutes.. Every vacant seat costs them heavily, and there are considerable drop-outs still.. What I'm trying to say is, give the chance to the needy.. If you've secured a job in Clerk then don't go for any Manipal PO because doing that will surely destroy the purpose.. Being a Clerk at whatever age you are, definitely gives you an edge.. Ultimately, it's your own choice.. Good Luck! :)
