almost every one here is agreeing of the cut off to be in the range of 75-80 but we always see ibps sets the cut off 10% more of what we expect. so i think the cut off can go higher in the range of 80-85. now some of u would say that ibps po mains cut off decreased drastically. it did bcz many people failed in sectional cut offs bcz every section was very hard that one would have fear of failing in any case. questions were completely out of the minds of students,but ibps clerk has a bit different scenario with some following points :
every section was not like u would fail in sectionals trust me if u are seriously preparing then it was not a shock like po mains. so lesser people would fail in sectionals which would result in increasing over all cut off
2nd point is 27300 students approx shortlisted in po mains but in clerk it would be 19200 approx which is also a concern of increasing cut off
3rd point is people had faced situation earlier in po mains on 20th nov. so max. students were prepared to face the shock on 1st jan 2017 and also they had 1 month 10 days time after po mains to get prepared.
now english section is the part in which max. students failed in po mains. but i think people could hve easily scored 10-15 marks as it was easier than po mains
so what i am saying is people would not fail in huge numbers in sectionals as compared with po mains nor i think ibps will make high sectional cut offs after all ibps have to fill all vacancies. so dont get surprised if u see cut off in the range of 80-90 and there would be many getting 95+ marks,those who would hve utilised the time in right way after po mains.and from 2017 this new all students too would become habituated with new pattern of ibps,and cut off again will fly high if ibps continue this pattern. so those expecting cut off less than 70 is just for self satisfaction. i totally unagree with the cut off being low than 70 .thanks if u agree like then.if not then send me sweets on 1st april. u r selected 👍

the candidates in ibps mains were in d ratio of 1:5...yes many won't clear the sectional cutoff and the competition will be reduced to the ratio of 1:3 ....aur ye 1:3 hi cut off badaega .....i don't want to demotivate anyone...pr yehi asli scenario hai aur kaafi chances hai ki maximum states ki cutoff 85+ jaegi
dukh is bat ka utna nahi hoga ki 1st april ko mera nahi hua, is bat ka dukh jada hoga ki bohot muskil se prelims nikalna parta hai kya pta next time prelims v na nikle 😂

Plz listen carefully my analysis..I cleared the ibps po 3years ago.I am currently working in a bank as assistant manager.I came to know that ibps po cut off is set to 37.2 for general category and the vacancy also increases.yo
And the cut off for ibps clerk is in the range 75-90in all states.
Ibps Po final cutoff for 8822 vacancies is between 37-41 for 100.so ibps clerk cutoff for 19000 vacancies will be approx.74-82 for 200 at worst case.(I guess)
sectional cut off jyada rahegi aur eska sida assar overall cut off ve padega ,, so aabi kar sab cut of experts ke rai 70-80 hai for general ...
last year clerk ke exam me ve yahi hoya tha bhut jyada sectional cut off thi because of no interview,, esme ve yahi hoga .
