In my last survey 31% candidates are 100% sure of their selection in JE Mechanical. It seems the cut off will go beyond 65/75 or 87/100. Good luck
As per RTI reply final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in CBT out of 100 marks.

The cut off for JE Mechanical should remain between 54 and 57. I guess there is very bleak chance to move cut off above 57.
People here on pg who are declaring their score without key should be careful while calculating their score. I have seen many people forget to discount their negative marks and claim only positve score.
For example:
If you attempted 112 questions in P1 and commited 12 mistakes then your score is not 100 but 96 which is equivalent to 48 out of 60.
Be careful folks!
FOR JE MECHANICAL DMRC:
There are many students scoring above 100 in P1 at the same time they are scoring 50+ in P2. On this basis taking 100 in P1 and 50 in P2 as mean then the average score would be 62.25/75 or 83.33/100.
Mean= 62.25/75 or 83.33
Standard Deviation= 2%
Range of marks in which 99.7% students lies= 57.75 to 66.75 out of 75 or 77.33 to 89.33 out of 100.
Note: It is not a cut off, only an estimate range of score secured by the candidates.

Some people believe that cut off will go below 55 out of 75. Aise logo ke liye mujhe Ghalib ka ek Sher yaad aa rha hai.
Hume malum hai jannat ki haqiqat,
Par Dil ke khush rakhne ko 'Ghalib'
ye khayal achha hai..
