We have to upload which documents and where?
Is academic diversity also a part of selection criteria apart from gender diversity ?
Hi Adcom Team, in the application portal there was a section of uploading documents such as marksheets , degree , wrkex and I have uploaded it and clicked on complete. But it still shows the complete button .and option. Of uploading documents. Is it right or did the status was to change . Please help.?

Since the process was complete for Delhi and Chennai centres, should the institutes not shortlist those who had appeared for the process ased on their performance? Will it not e unfair?
How many seats are there in IIT madras for MBA? Is their any special kind of reservation for female candidates as it is the only college where number of females are more than 60%
Let me only start off by saying I don't have ANY problem whatsoever with online interviews. Infact that is what they should've done. It is unfair to those who went thru the process.... but now it is too late! Let's assume they do consider taking their decision back by mid-may after discussions over emails and candidates' concerns. Then, it would only be a miracle to get all approvals (since they follow directives of ministry I am assuming their permission would be required as well) by May-end. Finishing with all the interviews will take you into third week of june, atleast. (If I am not wrong, PI at 3 centres were remaining) And considering a two week time for result beyond that, you're into first week of July. Timeline may be debated for different steps, but more or less, the end time would remain the same. So?? Do you think it is possible now? And do you even want for it to happen that way? You would anyway lose out on these IITs because by that time almost all colleges, including all IIMs would be out with their result... Many pvt colleges would even start online classes... And we won't even get the option to chose to study in one of the IITs
Adcom, Possible date of releasing the merit list and waiting list?
The colleges take application fees from the students for the arrangement of Interview venues and faculities. The colleges that have scrapped PIWAT process have no rights to collect full amount of apllication fees. They should provide partial refund to students, which is well within rights of the students.
Even some colleges that have taken online PIs for the remaining candidates should provide partial refunds for the same.
As most of us have applied for number of colleges, this could save us some thousands of rupees. We should make our voice heard.

Huge respect to the admission team of Vgsom IIT Kharagpur. The new criteria they have adapted gives atleast equal chance to all the aspiring applicants, It shows there level of commitment towards the selection of the candidates. Admission teams of IIT Madras, Delhi do learn from them.

Updates 1. Extracurricular and co-curricular activities will not be considered this year for the selection process. 2. There is no need for any candidate to upload any documents or certificates now (if you haven’t done so previously). Once you are selected, you will be asked to send the required documents. We will let you know when we got more information about the rest of the queries.
