hi people,

This IPO seems good. They have fixed the price band at less than the book value and at PE of below 5. Even PEG seems very attractive. 5% discount to Retail is an added bonus. According to me, its a Subscribe. Now we can only hope, the no. of times subscription is low and we get more and more shares
I think this will also go on the lines of MOIL with heavy subscription.Must congratulate the Government for pricing the Recent Public Sector Issues very attractively
We have got an awesome opportunity todayAll small caps and mid caps available at 30-40% discount of their recent highs
My picks - Delta Corp @ Rs. 80 a piece
JSW Holdings @ Rs. 1250 a piece..
Wats ur pick ??? :p
good choice my frnd
carry on with jsw holdings
u will get good returns pretty soon
jsw is pioneer of industry ,good orderbooks carry on
deltacorp -- interesting owned by soli sorabjee's daughter i think hold onto this

Its annual charge for an account of CDSL. And you are mistaken, this cannot be first time, This is annual.

If I am not wrong then, It is not annual charge.
I think it's monthly (BEING CDSL CHARGES FOR NOV 2010)
It may not be first time, though these charges are deducted when you sell of your holding ( per scrip ) .( in my case it's minimum 15 to max 100 rs per scrip when I sell.
I have my account with India Infoline . They say these are depository charges ( for keeping ur securities with DP) . some times name change (intersettlement charges ) but all in all...Its same .
Better confirm with India Bulls' relationship manager.
Guys, what ur strategy now for the next month. I m bit free now and will start some trading on daily to weekly basis. I have made experience in making money in bear market on daily to weekly call and option. what should be the strategy in such volatile market??
kisi wagon company ke stocks le liya jaaye

sanchitconfused
Texmaco and Titagarh Wagons are two stocks which may witness some build up ahead of the Railway Budget.
A news article ahead of the 2010 Railway Budget
The Hindu Business Line : Titagarh Wagons, Texmaco stocks gain speed ahead of Rly Budget
Disclaimer : I have no knowledge about the companies or their stock prices.Do your bit of research before trading/investing in the stocks.
dude dont invest in these wagon companies , they only get orders once in a year and only from 1 company..
look for better companies which are undervalued currently .. and there are a lot of them now
see my smiley at the last of the post
they suggest all
Ideally speaking there should not be any decrease in the Open Interest in the case of European Style Options (The one being followed in India too). Am I right ?
Because options can be exercised only at the time of expiry.
Can any one clarify me on this ?
Presently the Division of Texmaco which makes wagons is hived off from parent and is presently unlisted.
So this leaves with stocks TWL , Kernex Micro , Kalindee & Stone
The best bet is Kalindee Rail Nirman on the buzz that L&T; is interested in taking it over and then Kernex Micro with the rail budget view

AFAIK, only Index options in India are European. Stock options in India are American, which means they can be exercised anytime on or before expiry.

Recently stock options are also changed to European type , not sure about the date

Ohhh... wen did it happen ??As far as I know, stock options could be exersized any day. Any way, the volume of stock options is much lower than index options. So it wont be feasible for exchanges to change them to european style :p
EDIT: They have changed it to European Style. All stock options expiring after 27 january 2011 will be based on European style
NSE to offer European-style stock options from today
