from a recent high in 380's in february, to 240's it has been oversold imho.. fundamentally its sound, and there is a feel-good factor with such a large consumer base. i read an article in moneycontrol and as i thought "negativity overdone". i second what analysts say, though most of the times when analysts point out is when there are some big player building positions or exiting them in opposite of what they actually suggest. but with right timming and stop loss this should pay back nice reward.
PS: i am a novice in indian markets, i trade in european interest rate futures

A weakening rupee leads to higher petroleum prices (outgo of forex, as India in a net importer of crude). Imports become costlier for the customer, as he has to pay a higher rupee equivalent in dollars, like your HDDs, PCs, etc. which were until recently mostly sourced from Thailand (China has taken over to a large extent since floods in Thailand). Another example is the rising price of gold, which is largely bought as a buffer against uncertainty like war & hyperinflation. However, gold purchases can be deferred unlike petroleum which you need daily to fuel your car. Overall, rising expenses for India's middle class as cost of living & higher inflation as a result leading to lower savings. Blah.. blah. Read some books on economics to write more reviews and analysis. Cheers.

Dishman pharma , Kaveri seeds, Bajaj Finance ,Muthoot Capital can be bought for long term. For short term buy Dishman

Heritage foods!..:D...

@jainpratik123 went through the blog..nice articles
@Mad-Head Hi..i think rupee at 60 is an extremely pessimistic outlook and will spell disaster for India..the RBI is sure to intervene and stop the fall if rupee starts to fall so steeply..With the recent QE easing, liquidity has been diverted to the emerging economies which led to rupee appreciation in the past two weeks..however domestic issues like policy logjams, corruption will result in rupee at 52-53 levels for the next six months..sentiments in diwali, uptick in spending during the festive season will be monitorables..
@Mad-Head Would like to know your views also since am sure you understand economics much better than I do:-)

I think telecom market is saturated now , So except 4g i donot see a catalyst for bharti. For rupee will trade in range of 52 to 55 till december and after that as india's growth rate will pick as RBI will cut rates .Then rupee will come to 50 . I am positive on equities for the long term . And in short term i think NBFC's and Pharma are looking good . Guys which brokerage are you using and what are the charges.

Hi, Just came across this thread, looking for some advice on my holdings, I had purchased Axis Bank at the level of around 950, & the stock is currently quoting at around 1150 but I am quite bullish on it but the recent trends in the banking industry is worrying me viz, lesser demand for loans, Interest Rate volatility, Increase in NPAs, etc. From a perspective of 1 year holding, what should be my strategy. Hold or Sell ?

Thanks
Mrinal Kumar

I think it will do well with RBI reducing rates. I think it will do well . You can book profit and move to bajaj finance , Gruh Finance if looking at rate sensitives . In pharma pack Ajanta Pharma is looking good
@astha Mam Which software you are using for charting .
