guys,

why has the metal sector gone crazy ? ( especially steel - tisco )
i know demand for steel from china has increased. in that case isn't this bull run short lived. when is the appropriate time to book profits.

+marc

at 10000, 11000 every time get pounded by people saying go in cash, markets will see corrction, never came in a serious way . Its futile to call the mrkt level and when wil the correction come in, experts have consistently gone wrong. Instead of levels of the mkrt book profits on stocks on whether they can move up or not from these levels like sugar still has some fiz in it.

TISCO has ben a stunner with increased prices in steel other than demand and hindalco getting benefits of aluminium.

The current run to 12000 was i think last weeks fall where MF's sitting with huge NFO cash saw relatively lower prices in stocks(liquidity driven as everyone says), good IT results or atleast they seem +ve had 12000 coming.

Book profits only if ur stocks have run up and reached their peak not if sensex is 12000 and wait of downsides to buy when everyone sells.

REASONS ARE:

PRESSURE ON MARGINS DUE TO RISING YIELDS
FALLING TREASURY INCOMES WHICH HAD IN RECENT YEARS BOOSTED PROFITS.
VERY STRONG PROVISIONING REQUIREMENTS SPECIALLY AFTER MNETRY REVIEW ON 18/04/06 .PUTTING ADDITIONAL PRESSURE ON BANKS LENDING TO CASH COW SECTOR OF HOUSING AND INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCE.
ALLMOST ALL BANKS ALREADY TRADING AT HIGH P/E OF 6 TO 10 WHICH IN THIS SECTOR IS BIT STRECHED.

NTPC
RPL(AS AND WHEN IT GET LISTED.
PETRONET LNG.
IDFC.

Market gonna touch 15k if its continues to run secularly this year....if you wanna know more technical details Grab a copy of ET Big Bucks Monday 24th Apr 06...

wow...but this secular run is being boosted by blue chip shares..and still it holds great potential ...The P/E is being calculated on backward estimates...if future earnings are estimated then it is still a good and healthy market...

so keep investing in good shares and punch the worthless papers which were damn only speculated...

cheers

well said sir, the banks are definitely going to see the pressure, also stocks like ITC , HLL can suffer if we go by the Meteorological dept of India's forecast which has estimated 93% monsoon and India depends 80% on Monsoon, and hence farmers can see some bad days ahead...

so it seems more prudent for our PM to open the retail sector (which incorporates Food as an important part) and give more elbow room for big companies which indirectly supports Contract farming...

also RPL has got Rs. 20 -30 opening premium in grey markets of Gujarat...also this stock is expected to give Rs. 150 + in two years (as per experts opinion)..also the greenfield refinery is expected to be operationaly by 2009 so hold this stock till this dead line and see the fabulous returns...

ah..after a long time a good scrip to buy...will buy more on listing...

cheers

hey guys,

im making something on bata in the recent rally . should i expect more in the next 3-5 sessions?
and any other good suggestions for trading in the days to come?
what good websites provide trading cues?? ie free of cost help plzz.

2. on the investment front im stuck with BOB( bought at 100 levels long back, added at 230 during the last ipo)

wanna get out coz banking has been left out of the rally. kya karoon???

Guys watch Ashok Leyland..40 to 45 in 3 days. Also I have Nat Peroxide at 10,100..will it ever hit 11k?

Guys as I hv stated earlier Cement Stocks are really hot.
Have a watch at India cement it today closed at 220 up more than 6% and it is moving like rocket and my target for it in a month time is around 300 and I purchased 100 additional shares of it yesterday.

Also to look forward is Mangalam Cement from 134 to 194 in 3 week time and likely to get to 250 in 3 week.

Lastly JK Cement though it has been laggard as comparision to India and Mangalam Cement but now it has got in the moving zone and a lot of upside is left in this stock and mit go to 260 very shortly.

Guyz wats gonna hapenn 2moro...aftr dis huge action taken by sebi against brokers..DPs...financial insti...
ne overnite advice...
shud i sell my investments n buy later at lower price....remember these r investments n not tradin plays...
