A package set has 100 bulbs out of which 4 bulbs are tested randomly and a set is rejected even if any 1 fails.
Generally 5 bulbs fail in the test.
What is the probalility that the set is not rejected?

As per my analysis all the four papers of ECE are all framed at the same standard .
Questions are taken from each and every corner of each subject . So , few lucky ones might have got the questions from the topics which they have gone through and the others might have felt the paper hard because the questions that appeared might be from out of the preparation area . I also believe it was due to the numerical questions that appeared as blanks , few people might have felt it hard (they could have ansewerd that question , provided the options are available ) . The people who have answered numerical questions are unsure whether that have marked the answers correct to four decimal points (mentioned in the instructions) .
I have given my paper on feb 15th 2nd slot . If you are curious about the questions . These are few which i remember
MATHS :
1. Limit x tends to infinite (1+1/x) ^x
2.Det A is give n . Det B is given . find
Det(AB).
Det(AB).
3.One questions on frinding the number of sloutions to system of linear equations .
4. If A is a 2*2 symmetric matrix having trace =14 . Find the maximum value of determinant for such matrix ?
5. A function w is analytic . U(x,y) is given . You are asked to compute v(X ,Y) . I believe U(x,y) = e^(-y) cosx
6.Div(r^2(del(lnr))).
7.A differntial equation is given D^2+2($)D+1 =0 . If the equation has real equal roots . Then $=?
8.A function f(t) = e^-t -e^(-2t) is given . Maximum of f(t) occurs at t=?
Signals and systems :
1. A causal stable LTI system is given by y(n) = alpha (y(n-1)) + beta x(n) . It was given the absolute sum of impulse response is 2 . Find the relation between alpha and beta ?
2.Integral -infinite to + infinte sinc^2(5t)
3.x(n) for n belong to 1 , 10 . If y(n) is the convolution of x(n) and x(n) . Find y(4)
4.A periodic square wave of period 2 is given . We are asked to compute the ratio of powe in 7th to 5th component ?
Control systems:
1. Block diagram is given with two inputs . Find the gain with respect to one of the inputs
2.A signal flow graph is given . Some of the branches have a variable gain . We are asked (for various values of gain )whether the system is always observable , always controllable , always stable , always unstable .
3. zeta is given , Natural frequency is given . Damped frequency of oscillations is asked ?
4.A transfer is given it has 2 poles only at origin . Find wether system is a minimum , non minimum , zero phase systems?
5 . State matrix A (2*2) is given along with the initial conditions . Find the solution of x1 and x2 ?
Analog circuits :
1. A question on diode asking for maximum and minimum volatge at the o/p?
2.Two Amplifiers are cascaded . Find the overall voltage gain (Individual A, Zi and Zo are given)
3.Two questions on MOSFET ?
Netwok Analysis
1. Nortons theorem statement is asked
2. Two questions on transient analysis
3. One question on resonance
4.One question on two port network asking for h22 for a parale netwok in pi configuration?
EMTL.
1.Two questions on Transmission lines , One asking for input impedence of a 1/4th wavelenth line and the other asking characteristic impedence ?
2.One question on waveguide asking for the dimension (b) width for some given conditions
3.One question on Elliptical polarization
4.One question on direction of wave propagation (Give direction ) . we were asked to compute the possible directions of E,H
Communication systems
1. Modulation index is asked for a given modulated wavefor (vmax and v min are given)
2. FSK . Probability of error is asked ?
3.Power specttral density is given , we were asked to calculate correlation of x(t) and x(t-w/4)?

made easy discusion- data for some questions is wrong?? for the phase margin question, this was asked-> pm from the asymptotic bode plot but he found exact Wgc and then phase margin

answer for soln of eqns should be 'no solution' as the system was inconsistent, the rank of matrices were not equal
