Guys I m getting answer as 0.4056 for the Q.no.51(joint entropy) question... From set 2 ece... M going to challenge that question, I hv cross-check its formula from many books, Wikipedia, notes etc. I also use the formula H(y/x) =H(x, y) - H(x) n got the answer 0.4056...did anybody facing that same problem... Pl share ur suggestions, PLZ...

Set1- Q36 might as well end up being a MTA question since if you consider standard value of € , You'll get what IISC has given in their answer key but if You use the given value of € where there seems to be an error in it's unit, answer is -4.83 ! What do you guys think? Ans should be either -4.83 Or MTA.

There are going on long discussions as to whether which set to gain & lose marks during normalization. :P Go through the papers guys & You yourself would be able to have some idea. Set2 is to indeed gain a few whereas set3 to lose for Sure. Set1 might gain or remain same.
