Guys in set 1 newton raphson question my ans was coming 0.686 i round it off to 0.69. Is it wrong ?

For a rank of 1000, aprox. marks(normalized) for different years are as follows
2016- 51.5,
2015- 54,
2014- 59
As this year papers were tougher than 2014 and almost same level as 2015 and easier than 2016. we can expect 1000 rank for a normalized marks of arround 55. Further, normalisation won't affect much this time because both the paper had same levels of difficulty so it won't be more than +2 or -2.
Above normailization marks of 47(OBC) and above 50(OC) will get bsnl for sure if they give 2000 seats to ece...if someone does not get in first round,they will definetly get in second round(if they are at edge of 47 or 50).Please share your openion
