Guys in IITG counselling, if selected in 1st list how much money do we have to deposit. It's written "Admission fee" which in the fee list is Rs.150. Do we have to deposit Rs150 only
Anybody successfully completed the payment of NPCIL please chip in........I have tried six times and the only common shit result I got in all six attempts is the failure of payment transaction.....

Trichy(gen- 800-2500, obc-1500-5000)
Warangal(gen-1000-5000, obc-2000-8000)
Suratkhal, alahabad, calicut, durgapur, jaipur, surat nd so on. Alahabad nd calicut can be intrchngd according to ur convinienc(south or north )
new iits like jodhpur ,BHU, ISM dhanbad (jodhpur BHU,ISM sud b preferenc) can be preferred after tichy and warangal if u r getting design, thermal or automobile in these 3 nits. IIT hydrabad and gandhingr sud be preferred over all nits.
IIT ropar and indore sud be preferred over lower NITs.
As i m from warangal branch preference sud be like
Thermal (out of 16 13-14 plcd )
Design(out of 16 9-10 plcd)
Automobile(out of 16 4-6 plcd)
Mfg (out of 16 ,2 in teaching 1 whirlpool, 2 govt jobs 2-3 guys may still get job in teaching as few clgs are gonna to recruite)
MSED(out of 16-17 aroud 4-5 plcd (3 in infosys 😛 ), sponsred by a cmpny, last yr hv to stay in industry, in first yr also 1/2 time hv to b in industry, vl get stipnd around 12.4+5k)
CIM(similar like mfg)
Additiv(out of 10, 1 is outside india undr some prgrm, 2 plcd)
In mettalurgy dprtmnt mechanical guys can apply. Both material tecnology and industrial mettallurgy are similar. (2-3 guys plcd out of 30 around)
Note- u can put MSED above mfg according to ur intrest. One reason for low plcmnt of mfg was not hvng any plcmnt cordinator for mfg who was too keen to get plcmnt. 😃
My gate rank is 924(general), score 776...interested in m.tech (thermal only) in iits...please suggest me according to placements?? & any placement statistics of IIT bhu& roorkee??
One more thing there is intrnl sliding in wrngl nd in few other nits also. so if u r not getting brnch according to ur interst, jst once go for tht brnch thn there will b intrnl sliding within the institute thn u can go for highr preferncs. Fr exmpl u got material in warngl thn aftr joining there will b intrnl sliding within the institute(as some seats vl b vacant aftr iits admsns nd some psus recruitmnt), thn u can go for higher preferences like design thrml. please help..during application for iit gandhinagar , i filled only thermal in research area...so if i go to gandhinagar, then they will not concider me for solid mech or dynamics & control ?
