I don't get the mail from IIT Bombay written test on 5th July.what is the procedure to attend the test?
In IIT k my serial no. In 2nd round was 132 and in 3 Rd round it is 99.and previously they have alloted seats upto s.no.93 now in 3rd round they have alloted only up to s.no. 60. I can't understand what they are doing.

And gt topic-how to inculcate scientific temple in indian society...Interview totally depends upon their mood ..they ask me about my fav sub n strt questioning frm tht only so i face totally technical ques lasts fr 15 min...only hr ques ask is tell me about urself thts it... all the best guys
For iit bombay 5th july written test... I hv not booked hostel yet.. since last date is over.. can I book hostel after reaching iitb. If not.. what are other alternatives to stay there?

In my case , first interview takesplace lasted about 20-25 min
1) tell me about yourself
2) 2-3 questions on job related like piping codes and standards as I had experience as a Piping Engineer
3) asked fav subs..I told RAC HT and FM
4) types of turbine
5) how to control speed of turbine
6) bernauli equation and explanation of each term and losses in it?
7) when diameter increase what effects on headloss velocity and pressure?
8)jumped to pump ..types NPSH cavitation ,
9) How to prevent cavitation?
10) As experience , asked During installation , to compensate thermal expansion kya karte hai?
11) In RAC ,asked about portable ac as I experessed keen intrest in RAC
12) why PSU and why not mtech?
13) Do you have visit any place outside mumbai ..I said Delhi
they asked do u visited Agra...I said no
13) will their be any problem when posted outside mumbai? I said no
