In advertisement of ONGC gt recruitment through gate 2016 it is writen that 60% marks are required in graduation. SC/ST candidates with mrks less than 60% would be eligible or not? as it is not mention in the ad for relaxation of marks for SC/STcandidates?

I can understand ,there is hell lot of tension piling up in mind regarding virtual calculator.
One possible try to avoid this can be to call IISc office authorities or academic cell (Academics - (080)-22932233/ (080)- 22932333
GATE Examination office - (080)- 22932392/ (080)- 22933333/ (080)- 23600902)
Clearly state 2 major points :
1. in entire 4 years of engineering , practice is done operating calculators by fingers, and
2. in future getting employed in any organisation will incorpaorate the use of real calculators instead of virtual.
When everywhere its real calculator then why to implement virtual calculators for GATE. Entire engineering practice is on Non-Progammable calculators , for one exam developing skills for virtual calculator is not desirable and its a tough task.
You are requested to call them and put your points forward ; as in mails they wont respond atleast on call they will pay heed to your grievances.
