Information about IIIT bangalore Mtech Electronic System Design( System On chip program i.e VLSI )
Started in 2014. The placements are close to 100% with Qualcomm,Samsung,IBM labs,Mediatek,Synopsys as major Recruiters. The average CTC being offered here is 11-12 lac. The course curriculum is excellent with advance level courses like Deep Submicron design, Circuit Simulation, VLSI subsytem design Mixed signal design etc. Faculties are one of the best in the India. The job profile offered to students by companies are Physical design, Design for Test(DFT), Verification, STA etc Both front end as well as backend profiles are offered. GATE SCORE Close to 650 is sufficient to get into this program but this year it may increase since the program is gaining popularity in india because of excellent placements.
