GATE 2019 exam will be conducted by IIT Madras (Indian Institute of Technology, Madras). IIT Madras has announced in the 1st week of July, 2018 that GATE 2019 exam will be organized for 24 papers (streams) instead of 23 papers. The new paper is Statistics (Subject code: ST). The GATE 2019 exam will be conducted on the following dates - 02nd, 03rd, 09th and 10th February, 2019. The GATE 2019 exam will be a computer based exam of 3 hours duration and will consist of 65 questions totalling up to 100 marks. IIT Madras will be organizing GATE exam for the 6th time, with the most recent ones in 2003 and 2011.
