To start preparing for GD/PI process kindly check last year's GD/PI thread. Few points that all the aspirants should keep in mind while preparing. GD * Topics given are not highly technical so that everyone can speak. * Do not interrupt somebody to make your point. Last year everybody was asked for an opening and closing statement so that everyone speaks at least twice. * Keep a check on recent happenings around the world. It's better to know about a topic at least in brief if not in detail. * While making points in GD try not to contradict your own statements. * You may be asked to write a paragraph at the end of the GD. The motive here is to see how clearly you express your thoughts on paper. PI * Mostly the first question is "Tell us something about yourself". You can use this question to lead the panel to the area you are comfortable in. Therefore prepare your response accordingly.
* Freshers will be asked questions on their academics while people with work experience will mostly face questions on their work experience.
* Do a thorough analysis of your personality and find out your strengths and weaknesses. You may be asked to give examples to show your strengths and weaknesses.
* Questions may be asked on your take on the GD topic.
* Question on frequent job changes. (I was asked this)
* Finally Why MBA, Why GIM and if you have decided your majors then questions on that too. Be calm, well dressed and confident. Understand that this is not the end of the world. Have faith in yourself. Good Luck

Till when is GIM going to send out mails to the shortlisted students ? Or are all the mails already sent out as the list will be uploaded tmrw on the site ?
If you have cleared the cut-off , you will surely find your name on the list of the college website tomorrow , after that receiving the mail is a mere formality.
I would suggest to you to relax and wait till tomorrow 😃

From the posts it seems like the cutoff will be arnd 77 lyk last yr. havnt got a call yet but hav applied via CMAT. does dat mean that the no. of cmat applicants calld will be almst equal to the ATMA stdnts calld last yr?? i hope dat is nt the case this yr!!!

This year IMT , TAPMI and SPJ are also taking xat scores.
yeah bt m giving CMAT only fr GIM! it seems dat numbr of xat studnts calld this yr will be similar to dat of last yr! dat means hardly any CMAT candidates wud get a call 😞 m quite tensd nw! havnt got a call frm anywhr n nw this also seeems to be goin away
