I have a
QA: 22 VA: 92
DM:98.9
OA:88.9
but a 33 QA wud mean they are not considering sectionals:cheers:
but then with a descent OA, I am yet to get a call... Panic sets in... are all d calls gone out or they are still on it???

1. Request you not to panic.

2. Mails are still being sent. You will def get it. Start preparing for GD/PI.

3. The shortlist will be uploaded on website anytime soon.




4. Till now, I can say that cut off is def not above 77.25%ile for Non-Goans with No Sectionals.

I had 47%ile in qa. But got the mail Just stay put. sabko aayega. :D

1. Operations as Majors has been started now from the batch of 2010-2012.

2. 8 students from this batch had Ops as Majors.

3. And from our batch it is expected to be 20+

4. Heard that even final placement was very good for Ops.

5. So you can bank on GIM for Ops. All the best... !!

1. Well, there seems to be some misunderstanding in interpreting the data on the link...
The maximum intakes are like this...
2007-09 batch : 120
2008-10 batch : 120
2009-11 batch : 120
2010-12 batch : 240
2011-13 batch : 240
2012-14 batch : 240

2. The 110 students you are talking about is the number of students that participated in placement process in the 2011 passing out batch. And all the 110 students got placed. There were 111 offers made to these 110 students.

3. The salaries that have been quoted are for the previous batches. Basically its the data for the batches passing out that year...
i.e.
2007-09 batch : 6.21
2008-10 batch : 7.11
2009-11 batch : 8.82

4. Hope this clears all the confusion in the air.
