Hi, I work in Pune and I am in need of an educational consultancy for foreign MBA admissions. I have been looking over the internet but havent been able to decide. I do not need help with GMAT preparation but I need help with the admission process, the selection of colleges etc... Anyone who can suggest me consultancies to join and what could be the fee for it??
I am planning to give gmat on july can anybody out there please suggest me which is the best coaching institute in pune.i would also like to join an active study group.
I got 770(IR7, QA50, VA45) in my second GMAT attempt on 27/4/15.
I joined Jamboree Regular classes only.
So My GMAT prep involved mostly the following material.
1. Official questions (Everything under the sun).
2. Jamboree material.
3. MGMAT (SC guide and test series only).
4. CR Powerscore Bible
5. Explanations of only Official questions on online forums.
For my score,I'll give most of the credit only to Jamboree.
I think a good regular coaching class should be judged on following parameters.
1. Instructor :- I still remember the first day of my visit to the centre and after meeting the instructor my first statement to the counsellor was that I'll join Jamboree only if this guy teaches me. Though I had already done most of my research,it was one of the best decisions I ever made in such a short span of time ;).
2. Study Material :- I firmly believe that GMAT can be cracked by practising only official questions or their replica. As a matter of fact, I found Jamboree material designed keeping only this philosophy in mind.
3. Environment of Centre -: Guys, We all have those moments during our prep when we are too lazy or distracted to focus on studies. During those moments, my feelings of contentment after self study sessions at the centre is just inexplicable.
Disclaimer :- GMAT is one of the most crucial decision of our career. So guys take whatever i said with a pinch of salt. Pay a visit to some centres in your city and take only an informed decision.
I have started with my preparation for GMAT and have joined Jamboree for the same. It's been almost a month now, I have joined April weekend batch. Classes are good, the faculty there is good and the most important quality of him which I liked he's enthusiastic, which I believe matters most in your instructor and he knows his lessons well. He doesn't spoon feed you, so you need work hard and be rational with your reasoning. During lectures he also shares insights about the exam and more about the patterns related to GMAT. Till now it's been a good experience for me. Material provided by Jamboree is good though I haven't been to look at the complete material but yes it is good enough. As I said the faculty is good it definitely shows that he has experience in training students for GMAT.
P.S.: Hope it helps some of the people looking to join classes for GMAT 😃
Hi i am Janhavi and i am so so confused about GMAT and i really want to avoid coaching classes. Is there anyone like me in such a situation? If yes, can we make a study group and figure things out together? My email id is- JanhaviDesai.r@gmail.com It would be great if any of you live in Wanovrie, NIBM or Kondhwa side.
Hey. I'm looking to give the GMAT by September! Is there anyone who's giving it around the same time? Let's form a study group and crack it together. If not, is there any private tutor willing to coach me on the same? Don't really want to join any coaching classes as they promise one on one teaching and almost never deliver.
Feel free to drop me an email at rohitkapoor1392 @ gmail.com

I am planning to start a study group in PUNE. The clear agenda is regular study rather weekly assessment plan. As part of my plan rather than focusing or teaching each other concepts, we will commence with assessment. It will definitely help you to identify the areas where you are lagging. All the concepts involved into those tests will be discussed thoroughly. Whatever concepts you have gathered will be tested and argued to its full extent. Ultimately which will prepare you to the apply those concepts better into your exams.
PS : We will be focusing more on Verbal section.
I am highly motivated to start it asap, as I want to be ready with my GMAT score way too early so that I can dedicate most of my time to the application (essays writing). Ideas and road maps have already been drawn, looking for few more serious folks who can share the motivation and contribute to our disciplined study plan.
My funda would be, Read books (good books), gather concepts and come together to apply what you have gathered.
PS: This is purely non-profitable plan, and the only motive is to keep up the motivation and enthu. to fetch 750+ in GMAT.
I shall give more details and share my contact once I am ready with commodities for Inception. Please keep checking this space for more updates on this.
