Hi,

now thats a hell lot of questions to be asked at one go!!

u seems like totally strange to GMAT and what it is all about,,,

GMAT is mainly used for admission to Bschools abroad,,, few schools in India also consider this score..

the format is bit different from CAT, but an experience at CAT definitely pays off!!

it has three sections - writing stuff (argument etc), math stuff (its considered to be easy) and then english stuff (considered to be a bit tough 😃 )

its an online test that you can take any time of year..

usually people take around 2 - 3.5 months to prepare for this paper,, but it totally depends upon you how comfortable you are with this stuff..

better go through an introductory books like the princeton review or kaplan premier program book which gives a good intro to this paper,..

I am planning to take GMAT in Apr/May 2009. I am looking for a 2nd hand copy of OG 11th edition as the 12th edition is going to be out soon...

Can anyone point me to any bookshop etc in Hyderabad where I can get it?

I have material amounting to 520 MB. So easiest thing to do will be to contact me with a pen drive 😃

What are the test centers in Hyderabad?
I think there is a Pearson Vue and a Prometric. Whic one is better?
And how ahead should I schedule the test.
I am planning to take in May-June depending on when I'm ready, but it seems like a busy time.

Count me in for GMAT - 2009. Planning to give it in June. I stay in LB Nagar.

Regarding preparation, I am done with 80% of kaplan and would be starting with Manhattan. I hope we form a good and studious group 😉
