I am a GMAT aspirant. Planning to take the test early next year , probably in Jan, Feb2010.
For the last few days.. I have been looking for a good Institute for GMAT coaching, but really ended up in a confused state.
I have some names like Achieverspoint,Career Launcher, Kaplan, Manhattan, ******** (I guess this is not in hyderabad) etc.
Can you guys please suggest me on this.
Also, I feel its better we can forma study group for discussions, sharing of study materials etc.

If you want yourself to be in trouble, then opt for career launcher.
I had enrolled myself for the CAT program and it's very disappointing.
I don't have much idea about Achieverspoint but would recommend you to go for T.I.M.E institue.

Hi Guys, I dont see any posts from you guys these days .. 😞 Are the people serious on the GMAT preparation?? If anyone has already started the preparation , let me know. I would like to join them. I have just started with my preparation.. Planning to Join achievers point in a week or so (as courses normally start on Mondays).. u guys can suggest me you experiences if you have already taken-up achievers point course. -Ravi

I'm giving GMAT in the first week of December.
Looking for some body who is also giving GMAT around the same time so that I would be motivated to study without wasting my time looking at your progress. So, please let me know if anyone is giving GMAT in December this year.
About me:-
Graduated from GITAM in 2007.
Worked as a software engineer for two years and 3 months.
Taught english to students of Lingampally ZP school.
I played basketball for college and at my work place.
Right now doing some research on some stuff... Plan to do my M.B.A so decided to give GMAT.
Preparing from Manhattan and Princeton materials...

Hello everyone ,
I did some basic search on GMAT in the forums . I think this is the best place to post my queries .
I want to apply for MBA abroad for 2011 .. as far as i know this is typically too late to apply for the season starting Jul/Aug 2010 . So my target is the Jan 2011 or Jul/Aug 2011 season.
Now my queries are basic :
1) To apply for the Jan 2011 season , by when should i be ready with my GMAT scores and done with the application process and how long does it typically take .
2) Will the entire course be done in say around 20 lakhs (for a 1yr program) . Typically what are the chances for an aid in such cases.
I am from hyderabad and I have 2.5yrs of experience in IT now with a fortune#500 company and have okie-okie extra curriculars.
