GMAT Online coaching

@Abhi1229 You can refer Kaplan Premiere, the Official Guide and Manhattan series. In addition to that I will highly recommend trying out the mastergmat.com website.

@debjeet - I've just gave the free test on mastergmat.com... How representative are these tests of the actual gmat?... the test analysis says my score is in the band of 680 - 740..

hi Abhi

I referred to Manhattan Official guides for Quants especially Number properties,VICs and geometry are good for refreshing GMAT related basics.You can also refer to Arun Sharma's quants book for CAT(Level 1 questions only) for improving upon your basics.With a little hard work and focussed approach,I am sure you can tame GMAT quants.
All the Best

@pd2010 It helped me gain confidence and improve upon the basics. How to use ballparking method etc. With Verbal section also, where I was weak, it helped me. As the course progressed, I really understood what kind of mistakes I was making. Unfortunately, I came across this website at a very later stage of my preparation and couldn't complete the full course. As you progrss, the projected score will change. Hope this helps.

@Raghunited88
Hi Raghu
Please visit this site GMATing.com.It is a fantastic resource for starting your prep.Once you go thru this site you may ping me if you have any doubt.

As regards Books, the official guides from GMAC are must

SC-MGMAT SC guide
CR- Powerscore CR Bible
Quants-MGMAT Number Properties,Word problems,VICs and Geometry

These are some gr8 books which you can refer for your prep.

@prakashamit

Thanks for your input!
I shall visit that website. But i am confused on which books i need to buy. I have GMAC OG books are way too basic and simple, is it true?
Also someone suggested me to buy Kaplan 800 , how good is it?
GoGMAT is the best solution for those having no time to attend live courses with its strict timetables. GoGMAT is flexible and contains all the possible theoretical materials in addition to a number of practical tests that you can take whenever you like! Plus it is much cheaper than any tutoring.

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if the new KAPLAN GMAT Premier 2013 with 5 Computer Adaptive Practice tests is any good? I have OG 12 so i thought i should get something tougher and better!

Please assist me!
@Raghunited88
OG guides are good for practicing questions as they contain real GMAT questions.From Theory point of view you will have to refer different books for different sections. Kaplan 800 is a good book but it contains very little theory.It mainly gives you practice questions of higher difficulty level.You can refer this book in the second half of your preparation.

I will suggest u to first go take the diagnostic test from OG 12 or OG 13.By analyzing your results u can find out your strong areas and weak areas.After that u can decide on which books to refer
@prakashamit

Thanks for the reply!
It is clear now. However please help me out on my other query -
