hi friends, I gave my GMAT on Jan 23rd, scored 680(Quant 50 and Verbal 31), frankly surprised to see the score bcz just two days before the test scored 580 in the mock by GMAC, lost all the hopes but decided to give to justify the exam fee. Just stuck to the question paper during the exam.
Though thinking of the exam for the last two years, never did the preparation intensely and did not touch the book or preparation in the last twenty days.
I want to give the test again in March. Forward your suggestions and possible strikes I can have with 680 score with more than 3 years of work experience(2 years in SBI and one year in Asian Paints):)

my target b school is ISB..
i am planning to write gmat in june/july 2013..
Pls tell me with this profile is it possible to get into ISB?
other colleges i can look for (in India as i need loan for financing mba)
Suggest preparation strategy for GMAT as i am not good at verbal part.
and books that i should refer to?
and do send me the e book you all are discussing in previous posts.

This question is from aristotle SC grail. The answer is E. Im confuesd with option A & E.. can someone help me out? ...The book says "roasts" is parallel with "braising" in option E. Im confused why not "is roasting" parallel with "braises" as in option A?

Word after the comma should modify the Noun,"Marc Murphy, the chef and an owner of the Landmarc restaurants in Manhattan"
Is roasting will sound like Marc is right now doing it , where as roasts correctly modifies Marc that what does he do in his restaurant while Braising the legs in other oven .So Roasts is parallel with 'while Braising' ..I hope I made myself lil bit clear.l

@arunss90 Dude A is not correct because "while he braises" is grammatically wrong section here. "while he braises'" if replaced by "while braising" can make it a bit correct. Answer E is correct indeed, as you said.
