@prishas : I agree with @dudeabhi011 Gmat prep is very good tool to know your understanding with the subject, knowing correct / incorrect answers will direct you where to focus more. However, I suggest you to pick manhattan / OG / powerscore for critical reasoning for verbal part. Though if you need to brush up basic grammer - you can have a quick glance of wren and martin. (yes, I said quick glance)
Hi frnds... I am completely clueless about GMAT and need your guidance on where to start. i have attempted CAT, XAT and other Indian exams a number of times scoring between 70-85 percentile. As far as CAT is concerned my strength was reasoning and weakness was quans. so how do start my GMAT prep now. do i need to take some mock tests online or do i need to buy some books and start working out the problems. i attended T.I.M.E's coaching classes for CAT and i am kind of ok with the basics in both quans and verbal. i m thinking not to join classes for GMAT and spend quality time on self-study. Please give me suggestions on where to start and how to prepare
@leonidas. : Thanks for this thread :) Hi Guys, Started preparing for GMAT from today. Planning to start from scrap first going with Manhattan quants (4 th edition) for first one months to get full form in Quants platform. Then with other things like Verbal and IR.
Its been almost two months since i promised myself to start preparing seriously for GMAT but the fact is serious preparation never started.
I was wondering that can we make this thread some more interesting by discussing about various topics...
May be we can start with sentence correction discussion... like we can start preparing from manhatten/gmat club book and discuss each topic everyday on forum...
Beware Of "CF INDIA PORTAL"-Coaching Institute of GMAT,They promise750+GMAT Score in written guarantee of money back but frankly they don't have anything in particular. No classes, No faculty, No authorised person, And Cheat people with false promise
I have 5 years of experience in BPOs and I want to change this industry and want to be in good profile. I want to prepare for GMAT exams for 1 year residential program for top B-School. Challenge which I am facing is the high fee of this program. All old IIMs and ISB hyderabad has fee around 18 lac to 20 lac which is very high for me.
Please suggest me some good college for 1 year program which has less fee .

@singhnirbhay If you talk about one year program. then its quite difficult for u to find with lower fees.. at least there will be 12 Lacs of fees everywhere including India. ISB, IIMA,IIMB, IIMC,IIML,IIMK Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management. can U tell me which field exactly u r targeting for....
@@kunaldelwadia : Currently I am in BPO and I want to change this industry or looking for managerial position in any industry. currently I am not in managerial position.
Please let me know the institutes which has 12 lac to 15 lac fees.
Will i get gud position after completion of 1 year MBA?
AIIM is what i have heard. Its specifically in Infrastructure Management. others would cost u nearly the same. its better to go for 2 year program if u want to go for lower fees Manaement institute. University of petroleum, Dehradun, IIFT, IRMA cost very less IIFT is only 2,40,000, FMS is also very less(Below 6 lacs) but it is very difficult to sustain the competition and two yrs programme..
