A classes for GMAT would be better or Self Study would do the trick here.

dude trust me all these coaching classes are of no use . get a official guide and start studying . If u need any consultation there are always online forums ..:) cheers

@[524331:Purva_me] check here http://www.pagalguy.com/forums/gmat-and-gre-prep/ you will find a lot of relevant stuff being discussed here.... other than the OG GMAT prep, princeton review manual, manhattan sentence correction, kaplan, etc. could be used....no dearth of material, but all might not be required.

Hi Guys,

Did take the GMAT 5 yrs back.. scored a 620 or so. Not so great. Want to give it a shot again.. Don't know where to start, am looking at a 700+ . How many months prep is required ? Which books, coaching classes are good in Mumbai / Online.. mainly the 700-800 level questions. I see from the forum that all these books are good.
SC:
1. Mahattan SC guide
2. Kaplan Premier program
3. Kaplan 800
4. OG

Critical Reasoning:
1. Kaplan Premier Program
2. Critical Reasoning Guide
3. Kaplan 800
4. OG
5. LSAT Critical Reasoning - This has tough CR questions. If you get time, it is great to complete this, but optional.

Quantitative:
1. Kaplan and OG
2. Kaplan workbooks.

@[601120:Medvik] there is a small debate about kaplan quants being a bit over n above the standards of the problems thats how up in the gmat...but yeh your list covers majorly all of that could be attempted....

time for prep depends on how much time you are able to spare daily...2 to 4 month approx. should do
