Hey Aspirants, hope that you all are safe and healthy. We understand that you will be having a lot of queries about the admission process and you might not be able to post them. In order to keep you all updated, we will be posting some frequently asked questions(FAQs) here so that you can have a better view of the admission process at GIM.
Q. What is the difference between various phases of applying for Goa Institute of Management?
The key differentiation between all the phases of application is that they have different fees associated to them which continues to increase till the last phase.
There is no such specific cutoff for the BIFS program. The management will decide the cutoff based on the profile. But preferably, a good score in the entrance exam would work in favour.
Q. Can I apply through GMAT and if so what will be the cutoff?
You can submit your GMAT scores if you have taken it in 2019 or 2020. For reference, the cut off for PGDM 2020- 2022 was 600.
PGDM - Healthcare Management, PGDM - Big Data Analytics, and PGDM - Banking, Insurance and Financial Service have profile-based shortlisting. However, it is advisable to maintain a decent score.
GAAT stands for GIM Analytics Aptitude Test. This test comprises of questions from topics such as statistics, probability, data Interpretation, logical reasoning, general quantitative aptitude, basic coding and so on.
