WAT- (Two topics were there, I chose)- Is studying MBA equivalent to a school? Why not get some “on the job training” that would impart similar skills? (250 words)
Wrote about how on the job training would focus only on cases, technologies and studies related to the company or at most the domain the company belongs to. An MBA degree would cover subjects that range the entire business ecosystem. Also peer learning in case of an MBA is not limited to classes and continues after that which would not be possible in the on the job training. Interaction with industry stalwarts and learning from their discussion, case discussions, focused learning are the other topics that I covered.
Panel: Two males, one more than sixty years old (P1), another fifty to sixty (P2).
P1: So why do you have two titles Mr. Hazra? Girls have two titles.
Me: Explained that it was an acquired title long back during the age of Zamindars and such.
P1: So your title does not have any relation to the Hazra more here in Kolkata?
Me (smiling): Did not know the answer but confidently said no.
P1: So you are from TCS?

<P1 and P2 spoke about my college and the chairman respectively amongst themselves. The peon came in and P2 asked for a big cup of coffee and the peon replied everyone has equal cups, P2’s face fell and inside I was screaming how relatable this situation was, not getting enough coffee.>
