its all about competition...if they make easy paper..then sab ke liye easy paper ha..all will get good scores..cut off reaches the ceiling...i have learnt that our preparation should be watertight..take no chances...no shortcuts...dig deep into the subjects..these IES objective question papers of past years can be very useful referrence...they have some very easy questions and some mind twisting questions as well...most psu take their questions from Past ies papers...

Hi friends,,,i have written both ONGC and HAL,,, both are tough,,,i felt ongc (gk and reasoning was good) was a bit easier than HAL as i'm very weak in mathematics.....i belong to MECHANICAL branch,,,CAN U GUYS TELL ME THE EXPECTED CUT-OFF FOR BOTH EXAMS

i'm trying for a new job from one year,,failing in every attempt,,,waiting for ONGC and HAL...mvery much interested to join HAL........presently working in BHEL,,now dont cook thoughts as y i'm thinking to leaving BHEL.. i joined BHEL in 2008 but working with diploma qualification...so eagerly waiting for a new job with engineering qualification

i hv chckd IES 2012/2011/2010/2009/08/07 & CSAT 2012 paprz...bt didnt find a single GK/APTi/TECH. question 4m ONGC/HAL ?? aise case mein aap kya kr skte ho..& how cn u expct ne1 in whole of india 2 gt 100+ out of 150 in ONGC & 120+ out of 160 in HAL?? boloz.. 
bt i hv extreme faith iN GOD..& dtz wat keeps me motivated 
@fifi: Hal paper was tough! i dint expect that mathematics will come in mechanical part! it was ridiculous and at the same time frustrating that they asked many questions from mathematics by naming it as MECHANICAL part! gk and English and reasoning parts were okay i guess! i dint do mechanical part in a satisfying way! just being positive is the option left now 😃
