Gk 15+/20???? Wowwww..... I hav checkd my GK answers for 15questions wat i remember on 26th test i got 8 correct!

I think they wuld hav mentioned if they had Sectionals, I dont know, Its my first PSU exam, no idea, anyone who can tell.....?????
@UthnkUknwME :In case of individual cut-off,I don't think a score of 5 in the G.K. section would be sufficient

Total number of questions in G.K. =20
Even if you mark all Cs,you would definitely get a score of 5
or may be even more than that.
In case you have a good strategy,you can mark all the answers that you know and then count the number of As,Bs,Cs and Ds and accordingly mark the option that appears the least.

as far as PSU trend is concerned there should not be sectional cutof in HAl...mind it guys even ONGC with no negative marking,hv no the sectional cutoff....u can check it from RTI blogs posted in ORKUT ONGC community....
But not 100% sure becoz its PSu and there is always a catch here....unlike IES or GATE
i think no sectional cutoff...let's wait for 4 days...to have d blast out....be cool n patient....

Good God..HAL prepones and ONGC ka kuch pata nahi....Hope i get thru..but i also hope (if i get thru) that CIL interview date ke saath clash na kare....

but the fact is only some gets above 100.
Above 100 out of 160 is more than enough to get a call in any PSU. Especially HAL.
Its cutoff never reached above 60%..
Reality will be different. If company provides us our OMR sheet. Definately all will get 10 marks less only than their assumption

Don't make others depressed. Am 100% sure that cutoff won't reach 110 like what u r assuming.
Except for ECIL (where 50 questions in 150 minutes), no PSU cutoff reaches above 60%.
Moreover don't be over confident and prepare for interviews because there might be cutoff in interviews also.
I had seen a guy who got 84% marks in exam and 7 marks out of 15 and lost..

@kavs i dont wanna demorolize to anyone but cut off surily go high..because only less than 1% people(who attempt exam) are commenting abt paper in this thread so u cant make decision abt level of paper..dont mind this please n best of luck to all
