Ten persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J are sitting in two rows with five persons in each row. The persons in row one are facing south and the persons in row two are facing north. Each person in row one faces a person from the other row.

All of them like a different soft drink, viz Sprite, Slice, Pepsi, Maaza, Fanta, Limca, 7up, Nimbooz, Mirinda and Cola, but not necessarily in the same order.

The persons who like Fanta and Mirinda sit opposite each other. F sits opposite A, who likes Sprite. The one who likes Slice sits opposite the one who likes 7up. J is not facing north but sits third to the left of G, who likes Slice. There is only one person between B and C. E sits at one of the ends of the row and likes Mirinda. The one who likes 7up is on the immediate right of D, who does not like Cola. The persons who like Pepsi and Maaza respectively are not facing north. C likes Limca. The one who likes Maaza sits opposite the one who is second to the right of B. I does not like Cola. E sits opposite the one who sits second to the left of the one who likes Pepsi.

In an annual function of a school five students C, K, J, L and B participated in discuss throw competition. All of them throw discus but discus was thrown by them to different distances.

The distances were 27, 29, 31, 33, and 35 feet, but not necessarily in the same order as the names are. Similarly the colour of shirt of each person was different. Shirt colours were black, blue, brown, green and red. Each person was called to throw discus one by one.

1) K and the person who was given the chance at fifth position threw the discus more than 30 feet. And neither of the two was in blue shirt.

2) J's shirt was green. He threw the discus immediately before the person who got the first rank.

3) The person in red shirt threw the discus two feet less than the person who threw the discus only after one person.

4) B was called first to throw the discus. But he did not get the last rank.

5) One who threw the discus immediately after C was in brown shirt.

6) L was not the person who threw the discus at 31 or at 35 feet.

7) The person in black shirt did not throw the discus at 33 feet.

8) The person in blue shirt did not throw the discus at 2nd or 4th position.

one person lives between the floors of D and J.both D and J live on odd numbered floor.D lives on above the floor of I.the number of floors above H is equal to the number of floors below F.

B lives on an odd numbered floor.E lives on immediately above the floor of B.two persons live between the floors of C and G.A does not live on above the floors of G.J does not live on immediately above or below the floor of either H or F.neither C nor F lives on an odd numbered floor.the number of floors between F and H is equal to the number of floors between C and G.

Statements: Some songs are not tunes. All tunes are drums. Some tunes are sticks. Conclusions: I.All sticks are drums. II.No stick being drum is not a possibility. 1 : if only I follows. 2 : if only II follows. 3 : if either I or II follows. 4 : if neither I nor II follows. 5 : if both I and II follow.

#easy one ..... L, N, P, R, M, Q, T and Y are the members of a committee sitting around a circular table but not facing the centre. Each member has a different zodiac sign, viz Leo, Virgo, Libra, Cancer, Aries, Gemini, Pisces and Scorpio, but not necessarily in the same order. T is third to the right of P. The one whose sunsign is Leo is second to the left of the one whose sunsign is Libra. Y’s sunsign is Libra and is sitting exactly between P and L. The one whose sunsign is Pisces sits second to the right of N. The one whose sunsign is Aries is second to the right of the person whose sunsign is Gemini. P sits third to the left of the person whose sunsign is Virgo. Neither Q nor L is the immediate neighbour of N. Q is fourth to the left of L. N’s sunsign is neither Cancer nor Aries. The person whose sunsign is Leo is sitting second to the right of the person whose sunsign is Cancer.
