For those waiting for the SBI PO notification (pls read till the end)::
Thinking logically, to conduct any big bank exam like SBI PO, atleast 2 consecutive weeks(Sat/Sun) are required. Other requirement is the availability of exam centres and dates to conduct the exam. Also dates of 2 bank exams never clashes.
Now SBI has postponed the SBI Clerk to June/July and mains to 5Aug. This is because IBPS season is starting from 11 Aug this yr. So SBI wants to conduct its exam before the start of IBPS season.
If SBI PO Comes, it can be conducted in 2 ways depending upon how the pre and mains phases are conducted::
1. The first way is how IBPS conducts exam for nationalized banks.(This case is more likely than 2nd one)
i.e IBPS PO pre <<PO mains<<Ibps Clerk pre <<Clerk mains
which means the mains exam of SBI PO has to be conducted before SBI CLERK pre. Now lets talk about what can be possible dates.
SBI clerk mains date is 5AUG. As clear from the history, there is a minimum gap of 35-40 days b/w pre and mains for big bank exams. Here I am not talking of ECGC,RBI, NABARD etc because in these exams there are less no of applicants. Also pre phase of sbi clerk is scheduled to be conducted June/July. So considering all possibilities the dates of SBI clerk can be 23 /24 jun and 30 june/1 july.
Now if SBI PO mains is conducted before SBI clerk pre then it must be conducted late to late by 17 june. If this happens taking again the min gap of 30-40 days, SBI PO pre should be conducted max to max by 20 may. It cannot be delayed more than that. Now NABARD pre is to be conducted 12 may. 6th may is vacant and 28 april reserved for IDBI executive. And before that there is no possibility because there is mimimum gap of 45 days from the date of release of notification and pre phase of any bank exam. you can confirm this by checking previous notifications. So here SBI is left with 3 dates only:: 13may, 19 th may and 20 may. Going by this schedule::Either SBI has to increase the no of exam centres or date of NABARD pre has to be shifted. Since no 2 consecutive weeks(Sat/Sun) are available.
Accd to this schedule if exam(SBI PO) happens notification should come by the end of this month. if it doesn’t come by march end then there is no chance since the scheduled mentioned above is kept very very tight. No more date shifting is possible. RBI GRADE B, BOB pgdbf and railways exam are also expected to happen in next few months.
2.. The second way is how IBPS conducts exam for RRBs(less possibility of this case)
i.e RRB PO pre<<RRB CLERK pre<< RRB PO mains<< RRB clerk mains
which means SBI PO pre<<SBI CLERK pre<< SBI PO mains<< SBI clerk mains
Now lets talk abt the possible dates. This is a more flexible arrangement. So more possibilities. I am mentioning few of them.
a)) SBI CLERK mains>>5aug(fixed)
SBI PO MAINS>>29 july
SBi clerk pre >>23 /24 jun and 30 june/1 july(cannot be delayed more).
SBi PO pre >> 9june/10jun and 16june/17 june
b)) SBI CLERK mains>>5aug(fixed)
SBI PO MAINS>>22 july
SBi clerk pre >>23 /24 jun and 30 june/1 july(cannot be delayed more).
SBi PO pre >> 9june/10jun and 16june/17 june
c)) SBI CLERK mains>>5aug(fixed)
SBI PO MAINS>>15 july
SBi clerk pre >>23 /24 jun and 30 june/1 july(cannot be delayed more).
SBi PO pre >> 2june/3jun and 9june/10 june
Similarly here can be lots of possibilities in this case. I cannot write all of them. Also I am taking an average gap of 30-35 days in b/w pre and mains. In reality it is minimum 40 days.

Will MH gen cutoff really exceed 90 ..what ur gut feeling says ? According to me the cutoff lies between 85-88. .
