1 simple doubt:
statment1- some A are B
stament 2- some A are not B.
whether venn diagram of both the sentences if drawn separately will differ from each other???
A mixtures in which 80 lit. milk and 18 lit. water was mixed. Then, 49 lit. of solution will be sold and after that a mixture in the ratio of 2:1 (m:w) was added. and the final solution was in the ratio of 4:1. so, what was the amount added in the solution.

ye kya tha.... LR mein 4 puzzles(including moderate level ranking problem).... could solve 1 puzzle.. rest of LR was easy
in QA, 1 moderate DI took 5 min ...other DI tough(missing values)... miscellaneous was of moderate... could solve half of them... 3 out 5 series are doable... left 2.. and rest are easy
in VA(my strength)... tough PJ...could identify the first statement only... long passage(1200 words economy)... only 2 anto/syno... rest are easy
P.S: personally i found the paper slightly tougher than SBI prelims and tougher than CP mocks... my SBI pre score = 44.5 with 53 attempts...

All those who gave xam today...and had also given some mock tests(PM/OB/MB/TB etc)...can u guys tell which of the test series was similar to ibps xam...i mean which acc. to u was similar??
In SBI prelims cut off was 47.5 and 40000 candidates were called for mains exam
In IBPS, considering 15k vacancies this year..atleast 45k will be called for interview( 1:3)..so i guess minimum 1lac will be called for mains..
so what do you guys think the cut off for prelims will be around ?? my guess it will be around 40.

Eng: RC was beyond my limit and so does PJ so left them convincingly. Attempted only 2 syno from the passage, while in anto I was clueless. Attempt: 16/30
LR: 1 circular arrangement, 1 linear arrangement ( 2 line facing north-south), one puzzle some doctor appointment-planet, rest were moderate. Coding decoding was the easiest part. I couldn't attempt circular arrangement and puzzles due to time constraint. Attempt: 25/35
Quant: 2 DI (1 line graph, 1 incomplete table), 5 quad equation, 5 series, 5 approximation and 10 Misc. I attempted one DI (line graph) did not even bother to see those 10 misc questions. Attempt: 19/35
Overall attempt: 60/100 (with 85-90% accuracy)

English - RC was based on effects of britain's banking system on economy of Greece and existing anomalies in britain's baning system.
It was time consuming as most of the questions were based on central Idea, "which of the following is true/false".
Rest everything was on easier side.(errors, blanks etc)
My verdict - Moderate
Attempts - 12 minutes 22 questions.
Reasoning - Circular arrangement + blood relation was tough IMO. So I wasted 4 minutes and then left it. Instantaneously I had to go in *damage control mode* So i did not attempt the rest of the arrangements/puzzle which seemed to be time consuming. Rest everything was cakewalk.
My verdict - Moderate
24 minutes 22 questions.
Quant was surprisingly easy. I have never seen such easy series/DI questions. Some of the miscellaneous questions were one liners. 3-4 questions were on the tougher side(mixtures, SI/CI) but hey!! We don't have to attempt all of them right? *We just have to qualify*
My verdict - Easy
Attempts - 24 minutes, 23 questions.
Overall - Decent, moderately easy. Expected cutoff can't be calculated as we don't know how many candidates are going to be called for Mains.
Don't worry. Everybody on this thread will qualify easily.
