IBPS pre is being conducted over several days, and stupid people
are posting question patterns and strategy here This is helping
other guys in later slots to maximize their score. For example today many
people were able to score high as they directly skipped passage/jumble and were
choosy with puzzles (thanks to yesterdays reviews posted here!!) Now people having
exam on 10th and 11th will be able to score even better because they have an
extra week to practice on the known pattern. So this is going to shoot up the
cut off considerably! So all those people posting reviews and question here

exams by solving questions or explaining concepts BUT quite unfair to give away
exam pattern in the middle of exam process. Am not saying not to help others.
You can help others all you want before exams All am saying is do not give away
exam pattern and strategies till 11th Oct. This is a competitive exam, not some college semester exam.
IBPS equalizes score across dates only if there is any
difference in difficulty levels across those dates. But as you can see,
difficulty level today had been the same as yesterday, and it will be the same
for even days to come. So forget equalization.
Many people have themselves confirmed that if not for the review
they would not have scored more today!! So lage raho...apne pairo par kulhadi
marte raho...
Rote learning still plagues our system, students study only to score
marks in exams, and sometimes to crack exams like IIT JEE, AIIMS or
CLAT. The colonial masters introduced education systems in India to
create clerks and civil servants, and we have not deviated much from
that pattern till today. If once the youngsters prepared en masse for
civil services and bank officers exams, they now prepare to become
engineers. If there are a few centres of educational excellence, for
each of those there are thousands of mediocre and terrible schools,
colleges and now even universities that do not meet even minimum
standards. If things have changed a little bit somewhere, elsewhere
things have sunk into further inertia, corruption and lack of ambition.
English: Slightly Moderate ( RC was tough, antonym synonyms were easy; FE+Fillers easy-moderate; PJ was easy and so was the cloze test)
Reasoning: All Misc easy (Inequality+ syllo+ blood relations)
Can't tell about the arrangements, didn't read even one.
Quants: Toughest & trickiest of all.. (Statement problems were really tricky and level was even higher than RRB PO's toughest question this year, Series: I never attempt, but found only one easy as a pie; DI: didn't attempt any of them, so can't tell)

Went to college in my cousin's Pulsar 220 and dropped a cute girl space friend who happened to have same center as mine to her home while returning (for the first time, one thing checked off of my tublist. I'm a loser, I know) and that was the highlight of my day and the day isn't finished yet 😛

Reading Comprehension - The section I consider my strength, sent me looking for polar bear in desert. Questions were totally inference based and made me do a lot of what they call "regression". Passage was about how Europe is not that affected by global slowdown and how few strong economies of Europe like Germany is related to slowdown in China. Parajumbles was easy but took some time to figure out. Errors were just.... simply "Errors". You can find 75% of them at one glance. Could do only 28 questions in 20 mins. Hashtag regret.
Reasoning: There were 3 questions based on blood relations. Like P have only 2 children. One person is a sister and another's gender is deduced from the question.. Syllogism were easy, I got confused by using Venn Diagram in one, but used AEIO method just to make sure. Inequalities statements were broken down in two parts and were very easy. Coding decoding had one statement in the question itself and confused me but then I realized it's just part of the "BIG" question and I laughed and laughed and wasted 30 seconds. Skipped all the puzzles like I skip channels. Now on retrospect I should have attempted one puzzle just for sure marks, but then again you miss what could be a riveting story while skipping channels (Seriously why is this guy talking about television here.....pagal to nahin hogaya...oh wait this is pagalguy hahaha.....lame! Sorry) Attempted only 17.
Quants: Yo kya mein hindi use kar sakta hun kyuki there's no word in english for "Lul" to describe the level of maths except for the DI and few respectable question.. I'm the worst when it comes to quants and I did 21 so I guess that paints the picture for you.

As i am finding a lot of reviews of pre exam and questions asked but i have not found any strategy to attempt exam. so i am writing the strategy followed by me to attempt it.
my shift was 4/10/2015 3rd slot 1:00 p.m
i found paper easier than sbi po
attempt 85/100
started with reasoning first and in 12 mins i solved 5 inequalities , 5 syllogims , 5 coding decoding and 5 misc. questions then solved one sitting arrangement in 4 mins. i did not read 2 puzzles as they look difficult and time consuming. 44 mins. left.
after that i switched to quant. quant was really easy. i started with first question and solved 28 questions in 24 mins which seem easy.
i left with 20 mins. than i moved to english and solved 26 questions mix of all parajumbles, rc, fillers, error finding, fib in 15 minutes.
in the last 5 minutes i moved to quant again as i was sure that i can do left questions and i was not sure about reasoning puzzles. and to my surprise i was able to do 6 out of 7 left quant questions.
so total reasoning 25/35
quant 34/35
english 26/30
i think this would help u in attempting exam well and ATB for your exam.
SBI pre ke 1st week me paper hard aaya tha as compared to 2nd week so cutoff jump ho gayi thi. 1st week me logo ne average 45-55 attempt kiye the, 2nd week me 70 tak gaye the so wait for another week.
